At a Special Meeting of the Abuakwa South Municipal Assembly held on today 14th MAY, 2025, the President nominee for the Position of Municipal Chief Executive was duly confirmed.
The nominee HON. NANA ADU SARPONG ADDO AIKINS, polled 29 votes out of 36 valid vote cast on the day, making 80.56%.
Present at the meeting were Hon. Regional Minister (Rita Akosua Adjei Awatey), Dr. Kingsley Agyeman (Member of Parliament), Eastern Regional Coordinating Director (RCD) Mr. Yaw Adu Asamoah, Mr. Mark Oliva Kevor Eastern Regional Chairman of the NDC, Nananom etc.
Affairs for the day was successfully steered by the Municipal Coordinating Director (MCD) Mr. Abdul-Rhaman Salam, and Presiding Member Hon. Amoako Atta.
